Doctor's Appointment

Yeah!!! I heard the heartbeat again today! Nice and strong and 160 again! I did gain back the 3 pounds I lost, but now I am even. My appetite coming back definately played a role in that! Everything else was great too. All of my bloodwork from my first appointment came back great. My next appointment is April 23rd at 7:30am for a sono. They will be able to tell us the sex of the baby then. However, we are just going to have them put the results in an envelope and wait until the 26th to open it, for Jason's birthday. So, it will not be until after then, that I post what we are having! I am so excited and I hope the next 5 weeks goes by fast!

Second Trimester

Wow! I cannot believe that I am now in the second trimester of this pregnancy! At first, I thought it was going to drag on because I found out so early, but now it is flying by. I am still feeling very tired and have started taking afternoon naps. I am on Spring Break this week, so I am able to get plenty of rest. I told my students on Thursday at school and they are all very excited! They have been full of questions and I am sure that will continue until the end of the school year, which is only 10 weeks away! I go back to the doctor this Friday for a check-up. Then at my April appointment, we should be finding out the sex of the baby. Jason wants to wait until his birthday to find out, so we will just have the doctor put it in an envelope, so Jason can open it on April 26th. We are getting very anxoius to know! My team at school also bought our baby its first book called Me And My Mom! It is such a cute book and I will read it to our child all the time! I am so blessed to be working where I am! I wouldn't trade it for anything! Well, I am getting sleepy and should probably get some rest. I will post again after my appointment.

12 Weeks

I cannot believe that I am 12 weeks pregnant (tomorrow)! The time is going by so fast and before we know it, our little one will be here! My aunt and uncle sent us the cutest little baby book and we got it yesterday. As I have been looking through the pages of what will be put into the book, I start getting a little emotional. This baby is going to be so loved!! I am still feeling great and eating all day long, or it seems like it! But I am still VERY tired! I need this to pass soon because it is so hard to get out of bed in the morning. I sleep well for about half night, and then I have to get up to use the bathroom, and then I can't fall back asleep. As I was tossing and turning at 3:30 this morning, I ended up part on my side and part on my belly and I think I finally felt a little pooch in my belly! It's nothing big and no one can tell I am pregnant, but I was excited! Well, I only have one more day until the weekend and then one more week until Spring Break! Thank goodness, because my kids need it!
